CHALLENGE
Gamifying the Ecosystem: Immutable, a leader in Web3 gaming, needed a high-fidelity "reveal" moment for their loyalty program. The objective was to move beyond static rewards and create an interactive experience that turned player engagement into a digital event.
APPROACH
Dynamic Fidelity: Spline.design was utilised to build a real-time 3D setup powered by backend data. This wasn't just about aesthetics; it was about Conditional Logic.
I led the 3D modelling, texturing, and asset animation, while implementing a system of variables that spoke directly to Immutable’s backend. This allowed the experience to dynamically render unique rewards (Gems, IMX tokens, Level Up keys) based on individual player stats.
RESULTS
Hyper-Personalisation: A 3D experience with content that adapts in real-time to show unique assets to every participant.
Tactile Reward System: From the futuristic keys to the shimmer of the IMX tokens, the assets were optimised for maximum visual impact.
Seamless Integration: A technically complex 3D experience that remains browser friendly and responsive.
KEY ELEMENTS
The Atomic Unit: The hexagon, the core of Immutable's brand mark, was the architectural foundation for every 3D asset. Leveraging this geometry created a seamless visual thread between the corporate identity and this online experience.
Treating the hexagon as a structural "North Star," ensured that every interaction – from the silhouette of the Keys to the facets of the Gems and the modular Reward Tiles –reinforced brand equity. This isn't just decoration; it’s a cohesive visual DNA that makes the rewards feel like a native extension of the Immutable ecosystem.
